The Mayor visits St Mary's

Norman Adams visited St Mary’s and the children really enjoyed seeing him dressed in robes wearing his special chain. His driver stood closely by guarding the precious chain.

Mr Adams explained why he was wearing his robes and how he was elected as Mayor. The children had followed the recent General Election so were interested in democracy. They asked the Mayor lots of questions about the famous people he had met, all his daily tasks and whether he owned Greenwich Park!

The Mayor will be returning before the end of his term of Office to visit each class.
