Victorian Day

Y2 dressed up as Victorians this week and I think some found it really hard. They had never seen their teachers look so fierce. Mrs Hansen was waving her stick in the air and even hit a few tables! A few children forgot it was just acting. Well done to all the children who dressed up. They looked the part with frilly hats and caps. It was great fun and the right way to teach History as the children will not forget the day in a hurry! Thank you to all the parents who put in a lot of hard work, ensuring the costumes were just right. There will be an assembly for parents shortly and everyone will have the chance to see all the photographs and hear about the topic.
