------

Welcome to Reception!

Your teachers are Miss Dennis in Class A and Mrs White in Class B. The other adults working with us in Reception are Mrs Collins in Class A and Ms Doherty in Class B. We all work closely with the children each day and strive to help each child reach their full potential.

In Reception, children continue to learn within the Early Years curriculum. The 7 areas of learning are: Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development, Communication and Language, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World and Expressive Arts and Design. Children are assessed against these areas of learning throughout the year.

Our learning environment includes an exciting outdoor area, where children can extend their learning.
